olPurpose Roofing Waterproofing Membrane (Brush-Grade) And Spray Rubber is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly, one-component waterproofing membrane formulated with premium rubber polymers. It is ideal for sealing leaky roof penetrations, ductwork seams, cracks, tears, and punctures in almost any roof system Olmeck olPurpose Roofing & Waterproofing Membrane is also used for a variety of other waterproofing purposes and is usually installed in tow coats.
Product Uses
Olmeck olPurpose Roofing & Waterproofing Membrane is not only for roofing applications, but also can be used for waterproofing foundations, gutters, showers, beams and much more. With its ability to withstand water indefinitely and remain flexible after aging, olPurpose is truly a unique waterproofing solution for the entire building envelope. Beyond waterproofing, olPurpose can be used as an impermeable, anti-corrosive layer to protect steel and concrete from deterioration. It is especially resistant to acids and caustic substances.
Application
All surfaces must be washed clean, free of loose materials, grease, oils, release agents, and other contaminants. Primers may be required for certain substrates, such as EPDM or metal. Typical full cure time of the membrane is 7-24 hours with sunny and warm, 70° F (21 °C), weather conditions. Do not allow the freshly applied material to freeze prior to full cure time. Cure time is dependent on weather and temperature conditions. olPurpose is typically applied using a brush or trowel. Can be installed with polyester fabric reinforcement supplied by Olmeck.
